I Suck At Life

I haven't been on here and done anything in like.. 2 weeks? Yeah well, I suck at life. I have not been following my diet as planned but I have still been half ass working out. Go me! I am more concious of what I'm eating I think. If only I stayed away from the carbs all together.

Anyways what's been going on in these two weeks?? Glad you asked! I have been reading other blogs. Mostly DIYers. I'm obsessed with crafty projects and although something I totally love to do I've never really pursued it . Well my friends, that's going to change. And that may be where this blog may take a turn for the DIYer! Also, I almost murdered my boyfriend. True Story. Skipping the details but I really hated him for like 24 hrs there. Umm, my boyfriends, best friends dog had puppies. Did you follow that? I figured out what I'd be doing for this bridal shower I'm hosting in one week. And I'm going to the State Fair of Texas today.. and if you've never gone.. Well there's a lot of eating involved. And walking. So it cancels each other out. See paragraph one of this post. And then I'm going to pay for it dearly tomorrow when I have to go to CrossFit. Oh AND I've also found what I'll be wearing to said bridal shower. Kind of. I found 2 dresses that I love and my bf loves.. after I decided his opinion mattered and the feelings of manslaughter surpassed. But I'm kind of lost because we are supposed to be wearing orange hair pieces, even though I don't think anyone is going to wear them. But I'm a team player and I will be wearing it damn it! One of the dresses is not really going to mesh well with the colors and the other would be perfect but my boobs would be all hanging out of it. So I'm kind of at a loss. I'll probably end up wearing the conservative grey/floral dress and wear the nonmatching hairpiece anyway.

So on that note: NO ONE has RSVPd for this bridal shower. Do people not believe in extending someone the common courtesy of letting them know you will be attending a shower for a woman about to be wed? And with this shower comes food. And favors. And cake. And favors. And well, favors. Can you tell I'm responsible for the favors? I have to buy all these candles for this thing. Thank goodness I didnt go with my original crafty idea of making my own candles and decided just to buy. What would I have done with a surplus of pinecone molded candles? "Um hi, welcome to our apartment. Have a pinecone candle." I think not. The major inconvenince here is that I have to BUY these things then return the ones that weren't taken. Time out of my day. And nonsense. But hey, it's not my family. Because if it was, they probably wouldn't RSVP either. And then I could just call and harass them into coming because that's just what I do. But again, it's not my family. So in turn I am having the bride, whom I love dearly do the honors of harrassing her family into coming to her shower. How wonderful. And I'm also a born procrastinator.. It's in my blood. So I will be waiting until the day before to travel the great DFW if I have to, to get these bridal favors. And I'll also have to find a cute way to gift these nice little gems. Martha Stewart. Nuff' said. I wish I could be this woman.. jail and all! All that does is give her street cred, ya dig?
